Kirk Burlew - Head Sensei (retired)

Kirk holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, with over 20 years of experience. Kirk was the main founder of MSMA, and also started the Minja program. Kirk retired from MSMA as head sensei in 2022.

Ryan Parriott - Head Sensei

Ryan holds a 5th degree black belt in Karate, with over 20 years of experience. He also has a 2nd degree black belt in Eagle Claw Kung Fu and a 1st degree black belt in Luzviminda Arnis. Ryan is one of three head instructors at MSMA.

Shawn Burlew - Sensei

Shawn holds a 4th degree black belt in Karate, with over 20 years of experience. He also has experience in Shaolin Kung Fu and Tae Kwon Do. Shawn is one of three head instructors at MSMA.

Patrick Nowlan - Sensei

Patrick holds a 3rd degree black belt in Karate, with over 37 years of experience. He also has experience in Tae Kwon Do and full contact kickboxing. Patrick is one of three head instructors at MSMA.

Kevin Parsons - Senpai

Kevin holds a 2nd degree black belt in Karate, with over 12 years of experience. He has experience in Shotokan and Shorin Ryu. Kevin is an assistant instructor and loves teaching kyu belts, as well as organizing tournaments and seminars.

Adam Ellis - Senpai

Adam has a 2nd degree black belt in Karate, with over 11 years of experience. He has experience in both Shotokan and Shorin Ryu. Adam is an assistant instructor and enjoys teaching kyu belts & watching them improve.

Maria Ward - Senpai

Maria holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in Karate, with 7 years of experience. Maria is an assistant instructor.

Gavin Cichello - Senpai

Gavin holds a 2nd degree Black Belt in Karate, with 7 years of experience. Gavin is an assistant instructor.
